Phrasal verb: intransitive
Some phrasal verb are intransitive, they are not followed by an object.
EX: The machine broke down.
Please come in
I fell down.
Break down: stop functioning properly

Ex: My car broke
down on the highway.

Break out: happen suddenly
Ex: War broke out between the two countries.

Break up: Separate, end a relationship.
Ex: Ann and Tom broke up.
Come in: Enter a room or building.
Ex: May I come in?
Dress up: put on nice clothes.
Ex: People usually dress up for weddings.
Eat out: eat outside of one’s home
Ex: Would you like to eat out tonight?
Fall down: fall to the ground.
Ex: I fell down and hurt myself.
